Randy - Lunch on Skid Row

Randy’s choice to use drugs for several years caused him to be homeless on the streets of Skid Row. After years of living a defeated lifestyle, Randy decided he needed a change. While on Skid Row, Randy has been able to receive plates of hot food from The Dream Center, where he is loved regardless of his past.

Dianne

Dianne - Relieved by Groceries

Dianne is a recent college graduate and single mother of two young children. She has not always had food available to feed her children, and has steadily tried to find employment. Dream Center volunteers have traveled to Dianne’s neighborhood, bringing essential groceries to feed her family, which has taken a lot of pressure off of Dianne.

Maria

Maria - Thankful for Food Truck

For Maria and her family, keeping the lights on in their apartment takes priority over most of their basic needs. Maria’s stepfather works as a butcher, but it is still difficult to afford groceries while worrying about paying the rent. The Dream Center ensures that families like Maria’s will be fed during the week.

Carmen moved from México to L.A. in hopes that her children would have a more promising future in America. Carmen’s husband’s income has been just enough to meet their family’s basic needs, but they are in need of extra help. The Dream Center meets countless peoples’ needs just in time.

Roman

Roman - Fed at The Dream Center

Roman has recently become unemployed and as a result did not have enough money for food. This tough circumstance brought him to the Food Chapel at The Dream Center. This simple ministry of providing food for the physical and spiritual body allowed him to once again experience the love of Christ and rededicate his life to God.
