Victor

Each week, you will have the opportunity to see the faces of real people that you are helping to make real changes for. Though poverty and brokenness are detrimental in the inner city of Los Angeles, there are ways that you can help countless families and individuals get their lives restored- block by block.

Victor - DCD Graduate

After battling depression and thoughts of suicide, Victor's pastor encouraged him to enter The Dream Center Discipleship program. "My life hasn't been the same since," Victor says. Before coming, Victor took advantage of family and friends, but now he's "at the strongest point" in his life.

Rosie - Change in the Air

At 76 years old, Rosie remembers a time when she was too afraid to leave her house in Jordan Downs. Though it is not exactly a safe area today, Rosie can at least leave her home knowing that there are people fighting for her rather than against. The weekly Adopt-A-Block outreach is focused on building relationships and changing the atmosphere of communities across Los Angeles.
