I have been volunteering at the McArthur Park site for a while now and I cannot even put in words the tremendous blessing I get from everybody. from the people we serve to the reguler interns who just work sooo hard to get things done.
ReplyDeleteI started doing it b/c after 8 yrs in my job,I got laid off and just to keep myself busy, I decided to volunteer, then I found another job and I thought I had to give volunteering up because it is on a Friday afternoon, to my surprise, the company I work for now has their Friday afternoons off, well It's God's way of letting me know that He wants me doing this and really I can't thank Him enough.
